LEADER IN ITALY

The Institute for Renewable Energy of Eurac Research is a private research centre based in Bolzano.
The Institute conducts applied research activities in the field of advanced energy systems through research projects at national and international level, direct collaborations with industrial partners to develop innovative products and evaluate technological or construction solutions. The Institute promotes technology relating to renewable energy and assists policy-makers through specialist scientific advice.

Protoscar SA

LEADER IN SWITZERLAND

Protoscar SA based in Rovio (Canton Ticino, Switzerland) is a company that has been active in the electromobility sector since 1986. Their main activities carried out by 10 specialists are analysis of charging infrastructure (masterplan, business model, localisation and choice of systems), electrification of company fleets, holding courses, Well-to-Wheel analysis, definition of the specifications and architecture of electric vehicles as well as prototyping. Their main customers are car manufacturers, power companies, research centres and public institutions.

NEOGY Srl

NEOGY powers electric mobility by developing an intelligent charging infrastructure and providing tailor-made solutions for electric cars. At their charging stations Neogy provide 100% renewable energy, aiming for a really green mobility for a sustainable future. The joint venture between Alperia and Domiti Energia, the major energy providers in Trentino-South Tyrol was set up in 2019 with the aim of promoting electric mobility, a sector in which both companies have accumulated years of experience by setting up an extensive charging network and serving numerous private and corporate customers.

VCO Trasporti

VCO Trasporti Srl, active in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola since 1976 providing local public transport. They manage urban, suburban and interurban mobility with 18 bus services in the provincial area.
The company has always paid a lot of attention to the environment by implementing various initiatives like the Greendiesel research project; managing electric bikes and cars and the use of BTZ diesel containing Biodiesel for company vehicles. As part of the Mobster project VCO TRASPORTI Srl intends to encourage the spread of electric mobility.

City of Verbania

The City of Verbania, established in 1939, regulates with appropriate deeds staffing levels and the organisation of offices and services organised into six Departments which are in turn divided into sectors, in addition to the Mayor’s Staff and the Municipal Police Corps.
For years the City of Verbania has carried out research and implemented initiatives relating to the environment by promoting sustainable development. As a result of this for example there is a great emphasis on urban green areas (the maintenance department and staff), door to door waste collection (the public services department) and ecological mobility (the general affairs department).
