Eurac Research‘s new interactive Electric Mobility Map allows you to explore the suitability for the installation of new charging stations in South Tyrol (IT), Verbano Cusio Ossola Province (IT) and Ticino (CH).
The heat map shows in orange the most suitable areas for the installation of new charging stations, for e-bikes and electric vehicles. The map also shows existing charging stations for e-bikes and electric vehicles.
The suitability was calculated on the basis of three data sets:
- the infrastructure of the transport network (geodatabase of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/Bozen);
- the existing charging points for electric vehicles and e-bikes (OpenStreetMap geodatabase);
- selected categories of Points Of Interest (OpenStreetMap geodatabase).
